Anesthetic Dental Cleaning

In an ideal pet world, we would brush our dog’s teeth as much as we brush our own. It is easy to forget about, so we congratulate the few owners that are able to do this. Everyone else can rely on the next best option: dental cleaning under anesthesia.

We use a state of the art ultra sonic dental machine to remove calculus and plaque from your dog’s teeth. The procedure itself only takes about 15 - 20 minutes and is quite safe.

Testing and Diagnostics

When your pet is sick, you want to know what is wrong as fast as possible. Collins Animal Hospital is equipped with a number of in-house diagnostic tools such as blood analyzers and digital radiograph machines to help provide superior care. Most of our diagnostic tools provide vital results within minutes.

Laser Therapy

Therapeutic laser produces light waves that alter cellular metabolism. This in turn affects the production of endorphins, relieving pain associated with arthritis in dogs. Injured cells stimulated this way heal at a faster rate. What this means for your pet is that he or she can heal more quickly and comfortably.

General Surgery

At Collins Animal Hospital, we are proud to offer a full range of surgical services for your pet, from neuters and spays to complex orthopedic procedures.  We maintain a sterile environment to help prevent infection. We also monitor heart rate and temperature while the patient is under anesthesia to make sure each surgery goes a smooth and pain free.
